Feline Estate, Inc. was founded in 2001, by Jessica because she's always had a passion for rescuing and helping cats. For years, before starting this 501 (c) 3 organization, she adopted from kill shelters, to save lives and rescued cats any place she found homeless ones. She wanted to help even more cats!
She has helped thousands of people with cat behavior issues and taken in close to one thousand cats, over the years. The cats get the medical care they need and sterilized (spayed or neutered), of course. Many cats that the current guardians are having a behavior or medical issue with, she has advised them what to do, and many families have stayed together, as a result of her recommendations.
All the wealth of knowledge, through years of hands on operating of the shelter and caring for every single cat, has been put into her book, Justice For Cats: Caring for Your Cat & Starting a Shelter. The goal of the book is to reach more people about the need that every person, step up and take some action to help homeless pets, so we can become a no-kill nation and to educate about cats and cat care.
There are NO salaries here and every donation goes to cat care! Our main source of funds is by individual donors. We appreciate every donation and use it solely for cat care. Please help us continue our life-saving work, by donating!!!
Over the years, many articles have been written on our work! International magazine, Cat Fancy, has nominated Jessica, to be the first ever, Ms. Cat Fancy. The local newspapers have featured stories on our work. Local Magazine, Ocala Style has written articles on Feline estate, as well.
